AOD-Related Violence Prevention Workshop: Tools for Planning in Your Community

This 3-day workshop is for teams from community-based organizations. Team members should represent the cultural diversity of the community and include various sectors (such as education and law enforcement). Participants describe a violence problem in their communities and use PREVline's Violence Prevention Resource Collection to find related information. Participants then select an appropriate prevention strategy and develop an action plan to take back to their communities.

Learning Objectives

The objectives are: (1) develop an action plan to address a violence problem; and (2) learn how to use PREVline's Violence Forum and Violence Prevention Resource Collection to support planning activities after the workshop and to exchange information with workshop participants.
