Multicultural Leadership Institute
This 3-day institute is for leaders of CSAP Community Partnerships and
other community-level leaders. It prepares participants to capitalize on
differences and build on similarities, thereby creating the broad-based
support that is essential for successful substance abuse prevention work.
Learning Objectives
The objectives are: (1) ensure that your partnership operates as an efficient
multicultural organization; (2) develop a greater awareness of your personal
cultural lenses and how they influence your leadership style; and (3) increase
your skills in creating and maintaining a multicultural partnership, including
cross- cultural communication, conflict resolution, and inclusive decision
making.
