During this session, participants have an opportunity to share their team's reentry plan with participants from other teams. This presents an opportunity to receive some brief feedback or suggestions. Participants gain new ideas from hearing other teams' reentry plans. This session also begins the Institute closure process.
Teams developed their reentry plans in Unit 5B. They now have an opportunity to verbalize their plans for the first time in a supportive environment. This session also sets the stage for Unit 5D, the Institute closing.
The room should be arranged in small circles of approximately 10-12 chairs. The number of circles will depend on the number of teams and participants. The training coordinator will make the final decision. No tables are required.
A. As participants come into the room, the training coordinator and facilitators guide team members to different circles of chairs. Each circle must have at least one participant from each team.
B. At least one facilitator sits in each circle.
C. The facilitator provides a brief introduction to the activity. Participants are asked to introduce themselves by name and partnership prior to their presentation.
D. Participants are asked to present a concise summary of their team's reentry plan.
E. Each team presents its reentry plan to its small group. The facilitator ensures that each team has an equal amount of time.
F. If there is extra time, the facilitator can encourage participants to give feedback to each other or ask questions about each others' plans.
G. The training coordinator lets participants know when they have 10 minutes left in the session and calls time at the end of the session.
