Purpose

The purpose of this unit is to allow team members to share what they learned at their concurrent workshop with the other team members. This set of workshops focuses on evaluating the internal dynamics of the organization and providing resources for building and sustaining the partnership. Team members get a chance to speak to the rest of their team and to deepen their understanding of the importance of developing a systematic approach to organizational development. The unit provides an opportunity for participants to integrate what they have learned in the concurrent workshops into their own partnership team.

Linkages with Preceding and Following Sessions

The Theme of Day 2's activities is the internal dynamics of the partnership. the preceding session contained a number of workshops that presented ideas and suggested resources on how partnerships can increase their organizational effectiveness by paying attention to their internal dynamics,-that is, paying attention to how they work together. This session allows participants to share information with others on their team and to focus on how this new information can be adapted to their partnership's needs. It also helps the participants to understand that many internal organizational dynamics can affect the successful operation of the partnership. This increased awareness will help participants to see the importance of Unit 2E, which concerns assessing internal organizational dynamics.
