Presentation and Facilitation Skills
This 2-day workshop will help prevention volunteers and professionals make
presentations before community groups and facilitate group discussions.
Learning Objectives
The objectives are:

recognize the elements of effective platform skills;

identify strategies for overcoming speaker fears;

plan, design, and critique a presentation;

define the facilitator's role in group settings and in creating a learning
environment;

and describe communication techniques used by facilitators and use at least
one group-facilitation technique.
